What is Zokudo?
WWW.ZOKUDO.COM is an online platform for customers to buy and send personalised eGift cards to their family, friends or business associates. These cards can be redeemed at the brand stores of various participating luxury brands in India. These brands primarily include luxury retailers and establishments in the fashion and lifestyle space that specialise in creating the finest apparel, watches, footwear, jewellery, electronics, travel, dining experiences et al.
What is 'Zokudo-Brand' eGift card?
Zokudo - Brand eGift card is a "semi-closed loop" personalised virtual card which is honoured and can be redeemed at any of the brand's store locations in India as well as on the brand's online store (if available in India). There are multiple options of brands available on Zokudo.com to choose from.
How do I purchase a Zokudo eGift card?
Purchasing a Zokudo eGift card is simple and easy. Browse through our brand selection on the basis of your preference i.e. Occasions, Location or Categories.
Once you have zeroed in on your brand preference, select the "Gift this Brand" option on the brand page. You can then fill in the value of the card, gifter and recipient details and in just a few seconds after the payment is made, the Zokudo eGift card is on its way to the recipient.
How do I pay for a Zokudo eGift card?
Zokudo eGift cards can be purchased using any valid bank issued credit/debit card as well as through NetBanking. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards. With our payment process fully secured and certified by Verisign, PCI-DSS and CISA certifications, you can be assured of a safe transaction.
Do Zokudo eGift cards come in certain denominations?
No. Zokudo eGift cards can be purchased for any value over Rs.1500. It is upto the gifter to set the card value as per his/her wish.
How are Zokudo eGift cards delivered?
Zokudo eGift cards are virtual cards and can be purchased only from Zokudo.com. The eGift cards are delivered using email and SMS to the recipient with a notification going to the gifter. We DO NOT send any physical cards to the recipient. If the recipient wishes to, he/she can print the eGift card from the email received or from Zokudo.com by accessing their account information. The gifter also has an option of printing out the eGift card and presenting it to the recipient.
What gifting solutions does Zokudo offer?

We offer four types of gifting solutions:

  1. Personal Gifting: Send a Zokudo eGift card from famous luxury brands to friends and family for any occasion by email and SMS.
  2. Group Gifting: Easily collect money online towards a Zokudo eGift card for a friend, family member or co-worker. It's perfect for any occasion.
  3. Gift Registry: An intended recipient on the occasion of his/her wedding, anniversary, birthday or baby shower can create a gift registry and invite people to participate and contribute to the gift of their choice.

What is the validity period for a Zokudo eGift card?
Zokudo eGift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
How does Group Gifting work?
Step 1: One of the gifters acts as a moderator (admin) and initiates the Group Gifting process. He/ she sets the minimum amount that can be contributed by each member, selects the recipient and delivery date, and adds a list of contributors and sends the invites to all contributors. He/ she also pays his/ her contribution part before the invites get sent out to contributors.
Step 2: Contributors receive invites and contribute their individual part through payment options available on Zokudo.
Step 3: After every contributor contributes or if the delivery date arrives (whichever comes first), Zokudo sends the recipient a "Group Gift ID" which is mapped to individual Zokudo vouchers purchased by each contributor. This Group Gift ID has the total value of all the individual vouchers combined.
Step 4: The recipient has an option of going to the brand store to redeem the total value by just using the "Group Gift ID" OR he/she can ungroup the vouchers from the Group Gift ID and redeem them individually at the brand store. Ungrouping can be done under the "Gifting History" tab in My Accounts section.
Does the recipient get the full value of the eGift Card?
The recipient receives the full value of the eGift card that you gift. Zokudo does not charge any commission or fee from that value. It is a completely free service to the gifter.
Are Zokudo eGift cards multiple use cards?
Zokudo eGift cards are ONE time use only cards. Recipients are advised to redeem the full value of the card in a single transaction. Every card issued is valid for six months.
Are Zokudo eGift cards safe and secure?
Zokudo eGift cards are completely safe and secure. They are sent only to the registered email and mobile number of the recipient. To prevent misuse, the card can be redeemed only with a secure OTP (One Time Password), which is sent to the recipient's mobile number at the time of redemption.
I have entered the wrong mobile number or email of the recipient during the gifting process. How do I change that after the card is issued?
You can login to your account, and under Gifting History, you will find a link to edit the recipient's email and mobile number.

How and where do I redeem my Zokudo eGift card?

The Zokudo-Brand eGift card can be redeemed at any of the brand's store locations in India and also on the brand's online store (if available in India). The brand's store locations can be checked on the brand's page on Zokudo.com. It can be redeemed by providing the unique 16-digit card number to the cashier at the brand's store. If you are redeeming the card on the brand's online store, then enter the 16-digit card number after you select "Zokudo" as the payment option on the Check Out page.

Please note that Zokudo-Brand eGift cards can only be redeemed at the brand's own stores in India and websites (if available in India). It cannot be redeemed at multi-brand outlets. You can check out the locations of redemption on Zokudo.com.

What if my 'Zokudo-Brand' eGift card is not honoured? Are there any risks involved?
Zokudo.com is regulated under the RBI Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007, which provides for the regulation and supervision of payment systems in India and designates the Reserve Bank of India (Reserve Bank) as the authority for that purpose and all related matters. This ensures that all Zokudo-Brand eGift cards will be honoured by Zokudo.com and its affiliate brands and stores as listed on the Zokudo.com website.
Can I swap/change a brand after I have received the Zokudo-Brand eGift card?
Yes. This service for changing the brand association is available within 30 days of card issuance. The swap can be done only at Zokudo.com and not at any brand store.Please note that ONLY one swap is allowed, so please be careful in selecting a brand for swap.
What can I purchase with my Zokudo eGift card?
The Zokudo eGift card can be used for any merchandise or service at the brand's store specified on the eGift card, unless stated otherwise in the "Redemption Detail" section located on the eGift card.
How do I redeem a Group Gift card that I received?
You have the option of going to the brand store and redeeming the total value by just using the "Group Gift ID" OR you can ungroup the vouchers from the Group Gift ID and redeem them individually at the brand store. Ungrouping can be done under the "Gifting History" tab in My Accounts section.
Can I use individual cards received as part of the Group Gift?
Yes you can, after ungrouping the vouchers from the Group ID. Once the vouchers are ungrouped, you can either use them individually or re-group them as per your own preference. Please note that grouping can be done only for vouchers of the same brand having the same expiry date.
Can I swap the Group Gift card?
Yes. You can swap the Group ID in the same manner as an individual eGift card. The same rules apply to this as in individual card cases.
How does the Gift Registry work? How do I create one?
Step 1: The moderator (admin) initiates the Gift Registry process. He selects the brands that he would like to be gifted, selects the delivery date, adds a list of contributors and sends the invites to all contributors.
Step 2: Contributors receive invites and contribute their individual part through payment options available on Zokudo.
Step 3: After every contributor contributes or if the final date arrives (whichever comes first), Zokudo sends the moderator a notification and a host of "Group Gift IDs" mapped to each brand that the moderator has been gifted towards. These Group Gift IDs are mapped to individual Zokudo eGift cards purchased by each contributor. The Group Gift IDs have the total value of all the individual eGift cards combined for that specific brand.
Step 4: The moderator has an option of going to the brand store to redeem the total value by just using the "Group Gift ID" OR he can ungroup the eGift cards from the Group Gift ID and redeem them individually at the brand store. Ungrouping can be done under the "Gifting History" tab in My Accounts section.
What are Ungrouping and Regrouping features on the website?
Ungrouping: : This is a feature available to a recipient who has received an eGift card gifted by a group of friends or an eGift card received through a Gift Registry. By using this feature, the recipient can ungroup the group gift cards into individual cards contributed by each the group members. He can then either use them individually or use the "Re-group" feature to regroup them according their preferred denominations.
Regrouping: : This is a feature available to a recipient who wants to combine values of various individual eGift cards that he/she has received. Please note that regrouping is only allowed for eGift cards that have the same expiry date and that are of the same brand.
I marked the email as spam. Six months have passed. How do I redeem the eGift card now?
A reminder email and SMS will be sent to you before the expiry date. Therefore, even if you have marked the original email as spam, you will still get the reminder SMS. We recommend that you add Zokudo's email id to your safe list to prevent this from happening in future.
I deleted the SMS sent to me. How do I retrieve it?
You can login on Zokudo and resend the eGift card SMS to yourself from the Gifting History section. You can also request the gifter to resend it to you or call Zokudo customer care for the same.
While adding a contributor for group gifting, one of my friends received the SMS and the other did not. What do I do now?
As the initiator of the Group Gifting activity, you can always send a reminder to all contributors from your "My Account" section.

Payments

Do you accept cash for purchasing Zokudo eGift cards?
No. At present, we accept only Visa, Mastercard and American Express issued credit/ debit cards and payments made through NetBanking.

I am a non-resident Indian. Can I use an international credit card to gift a Zokudo eGift card?
As per Reserve Bank of India guidelines, you cannot purchase a Zokudo-Brand eGift card using your international credit card. But, if you have an Indian bank issued credit/debit card or a Netbanking account with any Indian bank, you would be able to buy a Zokudo-Brand eGift card.
